Ah I see. It's true LL has these rules and prompts. But it's not really competitive and more for fun, to do things one wouldn't try on their own. I myself was surprised about the things I came up there, ideas/themes of fic i.e. I'd have never (!) tried. And when I don't like things, I don't need to do them just for the sake of it. That's probably the reason I'm still there ;)

I understand you though, and it's not awful at all - to each their own. The most important thing is to make things that make one happy and enjoy fandom, nothing else :)
