I. Happiness
Character/s: Regina
Rating: PG 13

Moments of happiness.
It was not hard to flee into memories of a time, when her son did not look at her with resentment or clear rejection. It was not hard to remember the first years together and his tiny hands curled around her fingers, when he now called Emma ‘mom’ instead of her.
Ten years later, Regina realized in a silent moment, that she had not been at all prepared for the precious bundle of joy. After decades living in darkness, little Henry had caused cracks to break open the hard shell, she had built so meticulously around herself. Light and warmth had poured into her heart and let the ability to love, that she’d believed she had lost forever, blossom again like a delicate flower in spring. Countless nights spent listening for her son’s strong and rhythmic heartbeat, out of fear that it would stop if she were to fall asleep beside him. Sloppy kisses against her cheek, promises of a four-year-old, that he would love her forever, the best mom of the world.
Yes, Regina had experienced moments of true happiness, ten years full of heartbreaking joy. Nobody had told her however, that these fleeting moments came with an expiration date.

The curse. It’s coming.
Every living creature in the enchanted forest can feel it, in every fibre of its being. The sensation is an unpleasant one, prickling, tingling on the skin, leaving goose bumps in its wake. The fear of the unknown, the evil, lies so very deep. Nobody can tell what will happen; nobody knows what to expect. The weak hold each other in their arms and pray, refuse to give up hope even when the end is so near.
Everyone is deeply afraid, everyone except one. Except the Queen. The Queen is coming.
Horrified, guards watch as the dark foreboding cloud recklessly tears through the sky, swallowing everything in its grasp. The world they knew is coming to an end and there is no point to struggle, no point to resist. When light is swallowed more and more by darkness, there is no longer any way to escape. The infinite line of the horizon, the bright shining sun, a wind that is there one moment - and gone the next.
In the distance, clattering horses' hooves are heard and at the sound of the outcry of the Queen’s horses, all the land is shaking with fear; then for her nemesis, she has finally come.

My main ship is Regina/Daniel </3 I don't really like any other ones (though Regina/everyone always works XD) Awwww IKR I hate him because of that but he's too adorable, I can't be mad at him for too long :P

Ahh Regina/Daniel.. I liked the idea of stable boy very much (even when I'm a femslashy shipper) but the only thing that throw me off was Daniel.. idk he was just not what I imagined as a man who would catch Regina's interest.. idk I was expecting somebody more like Graham (dark hair and mysterious lol)?! xDD But NOW I know! :) *makes notes*
You think? Every time I watch the episodes where he is disobeying her so plainly and so cruel and harsh I just want to strangle him lol Did I mention that I'm a bad person!? ;)
