it's been...a while<3
Jan. 10th, 2026 05:14 pmhello and happy 2026 everyone! i disappeared amidst the many happenings of december such as much sewing, many baking orders, and general malaise aka seasonal depression but i am back? anyway i am back at work two days a week completing Project upon Project which is good bc my father suddenly decided i owe him $450 of car insurance, by the end of next month. YAHOO! i was planning on sewing a baby quilt for cousin's new baby but must postpone that until AFTER the baby is born bc i can no longer afford fabric ! again, i say, YAHOO!
anyway! wrapping up 2025- i achieved my goal of reading 30 books by reading a total of 38! and i watch 41 "classic" movies i'd never seen- listed below! classics was loosely defined by me as a movie you hear a lot about or has an iconic line and then the definition was stretched further once my very enthusiastic friends and family got wind of the idea and wanted to introduce me to their classics lmao
fffffff
and, inspired by this idea, here is a list of Katie Classics full of movies that were a very big deal to me at some point in my life. when i was making this list i found that after like...high school there weren't really any movies that stood out in this way to me? which is why most of them are children's movies kjdnfdjnfskd the only two additions from Adult Katie are the Final Destination movies and The Fast and Furious movies. oh and Trolls 2 of course. naturally. i wish i was insightful enough to know Why movies aren't riling me up like they used to but i'm not so here's the list!
my other big goal last year was to get my driver's license which i did! moving on, here are some casual 2026 goals-
