Prelate Denna rushed through the hallways, her pink hat flattered in the air, eager to meet with her sisters. A major task lay ahead of them: Supporting the Seeker of Truth, Kahlan Amnell. The Prelate had wondered for months how they could help the Seeker, until the final idea struck her. An armour, crocheted with pure love.
"Be greeted sisters!" She exclaimed over excited as always, as she entered the working area.
"May the light of the creator shine on you, Prelate," the four sisters, sitting at a table, replied in chorus. The Prelate took a seat and glanced expectantly in her sisters faces. "So, what do we have?"
"I'm almost finished!" Sister Cara replied eagerly.
The Prelate's eyes narrowed slightly, as she watched Cara hold up a few thin straps of fabric. "Weren't you supposed to make the corset, Sister Cara? I doubt that the Seeker's breasts would even fit in there!?"
Cara looked down at the fabric, then met eyes with Prelate Denna again and whispered conspiratorially, "If her breasts are more exposed, it will distract her enemies!" The Prelate looked puzzled for a moment, but eventually replied, "creative thinking, Sister Cara, I like it!"
The Prelate's eyes fixed on two sisters, who seemed extremely focused on their needlework. She leaned back in her chair. "Sisters Berdine and Raina, how nice to see you, I missed you both at devotions this morning!?"
A silence fell across the table and the sister's faces became as red as the gowns they were wearing. "We were.. ahh.. prevented..," Sister Berdine stuttered, "we were praising the creator!" Raina hurried to explain.
The Prelate looked somewhat unconvinced.
"That's true Prelate Denna!" Sister Triana confirmed and nodded at the memory, "as I was on my way to devotions, I heard loud screams 'Oh! CREATOR'!"
