"Your lips are trembling Kahlan."

With a small hint of curiosity playing across her features, Denna looks down at her from her position above, meeting Kahlan's gaze, the physical exhaustion straining her voice into a nearly breathless whisper.

"Tell me why."

Pale skin of her chest is glistering with a fine sheen of sweat, shoulder blades lift off the damp sheets. Moaning loudly, Kahlan forces herself more urgently down on Denna's hand between her legs. The dark sheets are soft against her bruised skin and Kahlan wonders how and when her life has changed from endless, agonizing pain to blazing pleasure. Deep down, in one of the darkest corners of her mind, which she tries to tell herself doesn't exist anymore, Kahlan knows, she shouldn't enjoy the feeling of Denna's fingers pushing inside her, that she shouldn't moan like a whore at every thrust.

"Is it because you enjoy what I am doing to you?" Denna breathes against her neck, her tongue drawing a pattern over salty skin. She already knows Kahlan's answer to her question, but she wants Kahlan to say it out loud.

Kahlan only nods, writhing against Denna’s body, while her hands reach behind her, seeking the wooden headboard for more leverage. Denna murmurs her consent, when Kahlan’s legs close around her waist, pulling her tighter and her fingers deeper inside. Denna still trains her, but not as viciously as before. Not since Denna has realized how to break her, and so she does, every night.

"Mother Confessor," Denna thoroughly enjoys the wince crossing Kahlan's features at the title, the pained expression that brings the brunette back to a reality she wants so badly to dismiss, "tell me how much you want this. Tell me .. how much you want me, how much you want to please me.."

Unshed tears brim in her eyes, but Kahlan can't lie to Denna anymore, only because it would be easier that way and the words are more moaned than spoken, "more than anything." With a loud groan, Kahlan's nails dig into the wood of the beds headboard, as Denna shoves her roughly over the edge,

When she comes down from her high and her breath begins to even out, Kahlan realizes that when Denna makes her beg for her touch and it feels like Kahlan is drowning in her own shame of what has become of her, that no slap of Denna's Agiel could ever bring her as much pain. Her Mistress is a clever woman; Kahlan studies her, as Denna wipes the wetness on her fingers off at Kahlan's stomach.

Denna has chosen the the worst possible form of torture that there is: making her want it.

Thanks! I think that is one of the parts I enjoy about Denna the most her cruelty (at least as much I think she - or every Mord'Sith has the potential to..) I like to explore that kind of notion.

It's utmost cruel and, I believe, so ultimately Denna.. in her dark-kind of way.. and Kahlan? She never had a chance anyway or did she? But they are perfect together.. mhmm. That reminds me, that YOU need to write more! xD

Thanks! :) I always struggle to write Kahlan, bc she's so sensible, yet strong. Maybe that's the reason she always ends up as Denna's pet :P

Oh, you write her perfectly, but I get what you mean. :) And I'm such a sucker for broken!Kahlan, it's not even funny, so I have no problem with her always ending up as Denna's pet. :P

(oh, I try. I actually wrote some Lauren (Lost Girl)/Dahlia (which is an OTP that totally sidetracked me but I love it so much right now :D) recently, but other than that, I would love to get all the stuff I have in my head out (yeah, mostly the 'dark' things, you know, leather related :P) but I struggle so much with putting it 'on paper' so to speak. :D I love reading things so much more than writing them, so I'm honestly so so glad that you're still writing. YAY!)

Haha ME TOO!! xD It's so cool that we've met, bc I only know one person who really ships them. The others read it, but don't really ship it.. (not that there are much more who like Denna/Cara, which is my main OTP)

(Oh that's cool! How did you end up with this pairing??? I understand that, it feels strange to put kinky stuff out there.. I still feel like this sometimes when I write about knew things that I experience as especially kinky.. The only reason I started writing in the first place was the lack of (new) Denna fics. Like I said, I joined the fandom very late and the only fics were about Cara/Kahlan, which I shipped too at the beginning, but then Denna hit me with her leash and I ended up as her personal slave :p What I mean to say is, that you really should keep writing, even when it feels weird! And if you ever want have a second opinion before posting, I'd be glad to help.

OMG YESSS! Oh, that would be cara_cersei or vampyre_kat? Cause if there's another person who ships them (and writes fic for them), I NEED TO KNOW! :D (Oh, the OTP thing is complicated for me, since there are too many definitions. :D Like, Kahlan/Denna are my main OTP when it comes to the Mistress/Pet stuff (which, like I said, is my favourite thing), Cara/Dahlia when it comes to ~romance and Cara/Denna for the power struggle, topping from the bottom, kinky things, you know... Oh, and I do like Cara/Kahlan either as BFFs or in an AU as Mistress/Pet (since ~canon Cara always starts snuggling and talking about ~feelings when I try to put her together with Kahlan for kinky stuff. LOL))

(Heee, it's so cool that you even get it. :) Most others just stare at me blankly (yep, through a screen, but I can still see it LOL). Ummm, I put together lots of women from different fandoms for a big AU thing and Cara and Lauren ended up Denna's pets (because everyone ends up Denna's pet in every headcanon I have, not even kidding LOL), and Dahlia sort of tried to 'rescue' them and I ended up shipping Dahlia/Lauren like mad. :P
And yes, it does feel strange to put things like that out there. Which is why the hardest part for me is to even start writing anything. But thanks for offering to betaread, I might actually get back to you for that because having someone who understands and knows the characters is really a great thing. :)

Oh, and well, I agree about Denna obviously. God, so so much.

Ah no, haha, cara_cersei does, you're right, but she's not been around much these days (On that note, I should poke her...). And vampyre_kat, I've read fics from her but I don't really know her. I was talking about endgirl, she's one of the most talented writers I know. Although she has only written one fic for them (
In the Night) and one for Denna/Cara/Kahlan (
Unbound), which is also akljflkadjl. (Though her Cara/Denna fics have me sobbing and pledging my undying loyalty and love to this pairing xD) I also would rec Innocence is a Lie from Ivanolix it's great too. If you not already did, you should check out the lots_femslash comm and search for tags (in the links bar on the right side), all fics are tagged with their pairing like in no other comm I've seen - it's heaven.

I can understand your definition of OTP's, it's not always that simple to say.

Haha :) Okay you had me at "ended up Denna's pets" - if a fic has Denna in it, I NEED to read it!! It sounds very intriguing and I'll definitely check it out and stalk your journal while being there.. There is a Denna/Lauren fic out there which is smoking, would that be sth you'd read too?

Heee, yep, yep and yep, have read all three (I love Unbound the most aslfdjiew) and the sequel of Innocence is a Lie Ask me no questions, I’ll tell you no lies is actually on my weekly reading list too. :D That's what I meant when I said I ship Cara/Kahlan in an AU context. Oooops, sorry, no, the fic doesn't actually have Denna in it (she gets mentioned, but just briefly), just Dahlia and Lauren. :/ But now I really want to write some Denna/Lauren. Hmmmmm. Well, as long as it's not too ~romantic, I really can't see those two in a romantic setting. :D
